How Can severe Oral Cancer Be Treated?

my father is having oral cancer. this has been diagnosed after the biopsy report. he is having red and white patches in the last teeth portion. As per the report its mentioned as squamous cell carcinoma moderately differentiated. The grossing description is 3 pale white tissue bits aggregate measuring 1 x 0.5 cm. What will be this stage and the remedy?

I am so sorry to hear about your father.

As per your query Oral Squamous cell carcinoma is an aggressive type of cancer that spreads faster if not diagnosed in early stages and can invade underlying jaw bones and adjacent lymph nodes..

As far as stage of carcinoma is concerned it is based on different factors depend upon the size as well as spread to adjacent structures and also the cellular differentiation..

As far as your father's case is concerned it seems to be in early stages as size are within range of stage 1 but can be confirmed only after a proper clinical evaluation and correlation with biopsy report...

In initial stages many a times surgery can cure it completely so I would suggest you to consult Oncologist and get him evaluated so that immediately treatment can be initiated to prevent further spread..
